Primary Functions

Teaching will be in the areas of organizing, administering, reviewing, planning, developing, and the general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the Respiratory Care program.

The Director of Clinical Education is a faculty member in the Respiratory Care program and is assigned appropriate didactic, and clinical teachingresponsibilities.
Qualifications

  • The Director of Clinical Education must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and eligible to obtain a professional license for the State of Montana.
  • Must possess a baccalaureate degree.
  • Have a minimum of four (4) years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, of which at least two (2) years should have been spent in clinical respiratory care.
  • Two (2) years in a teaching position for an accredited respiratory care program is preferred.
  • Formal teacher, training/experience and recent clinical experience in critical care is recommended.
