Responsible for maintaining and enhancing Enrollment Services websites: develops and implements web technologies including on-line forms,
blogging, podcasting, portal development and streaming media; develops analytical measurement tools to gauge utilization and success;
provides technical recommendations and solutions for enhancing electronic communications between Enrollment Services and
prospective/current students and their families; serves as the interactive media specialist for Enrollment Services and as a member of the
Enrolment Services creative team; assists in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the department’s desktops and printers
Position will demonstrate knowledge of and expertise with web development software including but not limited Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and
Flash and HTML, DHTML, and XML languages; experience creating web forms; experience with web metrics/analytics, and landing page
development; experience implementing web technologies to include RSS podcasting (audio/visual), portal development, social
networking/blogging platforms, and streaming video; knowledge of and expertise in Microsoft Windows operating system (MS Access, Outlook,
Excel, and Word); experience with desktop hardware/software troubleshooting; effective time-management, and organizational skills to complete
tasks with attention to detail; ability to learn and apply The University of Montana and departmental policies and procedures; ability to work
independently as well as in a team environment; professional communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate and establish
positive work relationships with a diverse population; ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment; ability to maintain
field currency and learn and apply new technologies; ability to analyze information (independently and as part of a team), develop solutions and
problem solve; ability to move, lift, and install computer equipment

| Minimum Job Qualifications |
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or related field and two (2) years prior related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
|
|
| Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities |
|
Knowledge and expertise with web development software (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash)
Demonstrated ability to create and design websites; experience in creating web forms
Knowledge of and experience in HTML, DHTML, XML languages
Effective public relations, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, including ability to establish and maintain positive work relationships
Experience with web metrics/analytics and landing page development
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system
Ability to analyze information and develop solutions; troubleshoot and solve technical problems
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
