Position serves as the Program Coordinator for CSFN functions. Duties include but are not limited to: providing administrative support to the
CSFN Program Director and Financial Officer; coordinating events and programs (annual offsite neuroscience retreat, summer undergraduate
research program, Brain Awareness Week outreach program); coordinating group travel; organizing meetings and seminars for the Center;
providing day-to-day financial account maintenance (processing invoices and travel expenses, account reconciliations, monitoring, reporting,
and documenting grant awards); recruiting, training, and supervising student support staff and undergraduate research fellows; creating new
curriculum for outreach program; updating the Center’s website with accurate information; gathering, compiling, and organizing information
and data; creating related database and maintaining accurate files and reports
Position will learn and apply The University of Montana policies and procedures; perform duties independently as well as a team member;
conduct research and attend meetings to expand his/her knowledge of Research Administration Best Practices; demonstrate knowledge of
finance principles; demonstrate knowledge of or the ability to learn grant management policies and procedures; demonstrate skill in the
operation of personal computers and related word processing software (Microsoft Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new and specialized
software; demonstrate ability to navigate the Internet; knowledge of or the ability to learn web maintenance software; demonstrate knowledge
of professional office practices and procedures; business English, spelling, composition, and grammar, including the ability to create, edit, and
prepare documents and related materials; demonstrate knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures; effective public relations,
interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of
individuals; demonstrate organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail;
illustrate ability to problem solve and make sound decisions

| Minimum Job Qualifications |
|
High school graduation and three (3) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
