A House of Character
Built in the 20s and purchased by UM in the 70s, the house at 730 Eddy St. has been a hub for broadcast journalism students for more than 20 years. As its days draw to a close, students and faculty get all misty-eyed. [more]

Why is this man smiling? "Copper Chorus," J-School prof's book on the Anaconda Co.'s grip on state newspapers, wins Western Writers of America award for contemporary non-fiction. [more]

J-School dominates SPJ Region 10 awards >>
It's getting to be a habit. UM journalism students enter the SPJ Region 10 Mark of Excellence Contest and just about always win. Added to this year's sweep of the broadcast prizes were wins for print students who worked on last year's Unabomber magazine. [more]
