Kelley
McLandress is
a graduate student in print journalism who moved to Missoula
after 10 years in Bozeman. She graduated
from Montana State University in 1999 with degrees in anthropology
and French. After a three-month fly-fishing trip to New Zealand,
she decided to become certified in secondary education. She later
returned to New Zealand and taught school on the south island.
Now she is pursuing a master’s degree in print journalism
at the University of Montana with hopes of writing and teaching—and
perhaps returning to visit her Kiwi friends in New Zealand. While
she’s in Missoula, Kelley enjoys running the trails in
Rattlesnake, floating the Blackfoot River with her husband, Todd,
and cross-country skiing with her friends in the UM grad program.
Kelley also enjoys visiting family members who live in Idaho,
Washington and Oregon.
