In 1998, Sarah’s family made a difficult move from their hometown of Great Falls, Mont., to Glendale, Ariz. Once there, Sarah set a personal goal to do everything she could to come back to Montana for college.

Eight years later and back in Montana, Sarah is now a junior majoring in print journalism with a minor in communication.

Sarah’s first love has always been writing, and she fuels her passion by writing for the Montana Kaimin and being an online reporter.

In her free time, Sarah likes to be with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading, eating cereal, exercising, volleyball and basketball, chewing gum and watching movies.

Upon graduation, Sarah hopes to work for a newspaper and would eventually like to teach journalism in high school.
