My name is Aimee Velk, and I am the lone Radio-TV student updating the Journalism School Web site this semester.

I will graduate this spring as a Radio-TV major with an emphasis in production.  I will also have a minor in Media Arts.  Since the print and R-TV students and faculty do not usually experience much crossover in their work I am looking forward to meeting and working with new people.

Other than working on the Web site, my main project for the semester will be the Radio-TV department's senior documentary.  I am excited about working on a long form project like the documentary because long form is what I would like to do as a career. 

After graduation I hope to find work with PBS.  I would like to stay in Montana as well.  Missoula has become my home since moving here from Havre to attend the University in 2003.
