I am junior majoring in print journalism and political science and minoring in international development.

I came to the University of Montana from Idaho Falls because I heard good things about the Journalism School and I love Missoula.

I have loved writing since I was little, but found a particular affection for journalism in high school. Now that I am in the program, I am having a good time learning more about this field and getting the chance to write.

In addition to writing, I also enjoy designing. I have had fun working as a designer for the Montana Kaimin, UM’s student paper, for almost two years.

This summer I am looking forward to my first internship with the Post Register in Idaho Falls.

In the future I hope to start off working for daily paper in the West, writing and designing. Traveling is another passion of mine so someday I will live and work in another country.

After graduation, I would like to take some time off to volunteer for the Peace Corps or another service organization. Until graduation, I will continue my travel adventures with friends in beautiful Montana.
