Eddie Haver, Reporter

Eddie Haver is a senior majoring in Radio/TV at the University of Montana’s School of Journalism.

Haver says growing up in small town Iowa left him with small town values and an appreciation for the mountains that surround him him in Missoula. Although he has never skied a day in his life, he says he snowboarded once, poorly. He says he is more of a sledding man anyway. There are hills where he’s from.

Now-a-days, Eddie enjoys going to school and hanging out in his busy home. Eddie lives with his girlfriend Jenny, her sister Becky, and their new friend Orry. Also in the house are Yoshi (a female boxer), Casey (a male border collie), Sasquatch (a tabby cat), a saltwater fish tank (for Puffins, Zombie, and an eel), and a betta tank (Skeeter).

Eddie attended three other colleges before finding what he was looking for at UM. He plans on graduating soon or perhaps taking a few more television production classes. He had a hard choice deciding between broadcast or production. Doing both might be his new decision. Eddie wants to be as well-rounded as possible for this ever changing, exciting business.
