Many students come to the University of Montana for the chance to play in a true Western playground first and get an education second. Kristi Albertson came to Missoula to study journalism first – and fell in love with the playground second. Now in her last semester at UM, Kristi is searching for a way to combine the two permanently.

When she’s not chasing stories for the online news class, Kristi spends her time as an academic adviser and as chief copy editor for the Montana Kaimin. When she can get away from campus – or if the couches in the Davidson Honors College lounge prove irresistible – she likes to catch some sleep.
