Photo student makes national show

A picture by photo student Tom Baker has been accepted for an exhibition by the the Texas Photographic Society.

Baker entered the society's National Student Photography Competition, and, although he did not place in competition, his image was one of 60 selected for the exhibition from 850 submitted by 194 artists from around the country. Baker was the only photographer from Montana whose work was selected for the exhibition.

The exhibition began in June in Texas and will travel to college and university galleries for the next two years. Images in the exhibition, including Baker's, may be viewed in the society's latest newsletter, "Contact Sheet." On the society's home page, click on "View latest Contact Sheet."
