T. Anthony Pollner Distinguished Professorship

In memory of J-school graduate T. Anthony Pollner, this program brings a working journalist to campus for one semester each year to work with the student newspaper, teach a class and offer a public lecture.

• Reznet

The only online newspaper written exclusively by Native American students from around the country, Reznet was started by UM’s School of Journalism in cooperation with the Robert C. Maynard Institute for Journalism Education and is funded by a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

The Montana Newspaper Hall of Fame

Since 1958, Montana journalists have been honoring the state's newspaper men and women who have made an outstanding contribution to the profession, the arts and the community.

The Montana Sedition Project

Professor Clem Work's book, "Darkest Before Dawn: Sedition and Free Speech in the American West," has led to an effort to seek pardons for all those convicted of sedition in Montana. For an earlier story on the project, click here.
