Montana Newspaper Hall of Fame

The Montana Newspaper Hall of Fame is jointly sponsored by the Montana Newspaper Association and The University of Montana School of Journalism to honor Montana journalists who have made outstanding contributions to the profession and the community.

Mel Ruder, then president of the Montana Press Association, and Dean Nathan Blumberg oversaw the induction of the Hall of Fame’s first members during the association’s 1958 convention.

The Hall of Fame is on the third floor of Don Anderson Hall at the University of Montana School of Journalism.
