Description: Ok, so I have been infatuated with the local music scene ever since moving here for 3 months in 1997. After holding down tons of shows on KBGA including 3 at once I felt like there was more room for a local/coming-to-town show and already had made many great local contacts through bands and venues. I am trying to make a show that is unbiased and fun at the same time. Interviews and giveaways are very important parts of Spotlight on the Garden City. I also take any requests made as this show is for Missoulians. We are a small market town, but music thrives here and i believe artists that come here often feel the good vibes and appreciate all the people who dance like freaks!!Types of music heard on this show include bluegrass(Broken Valley Road Show), metal(Sunder), rock(Volumen), jam(Swyl), songwriter(Jessie Driscoll), jazz(Eden Atwood), hip-hop(Traffic), and crazy amounts of coming-to-town bands.
