The University of Montana Lambda Alliance sponsors many activities throughout the year. We are currently funded solely through ASUM funds. As more and more student groups become ASUM recognized, the activity fee money that the student government appropriates to the groups is spread thinly to all the groups. As a result of diminishing ASUM money and a desire to build a stronger Lambda, the Board of Directors is launching a fundraising drive to help support such Lambda events as Pride Week, National Coming Out Day, and other events to help the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered communities.
