| This course, offered in odd-year summers to Law and Education graduate students, focuses on contemporary court cases affecting higher education. Issues covered include student and employee free speech and academic freedom; religion in public higher education; sexual and other illegal forms of harassment on campus; affirmative action and admission preferences; disability laws applicable to students and employees; intercollegiate athletics, including Title IX; and torts somewhat unique to campuses. |
