Professor Gregory S. Munro

This course is designed to provide every student with persuasive skills in advocacy that will serve them in the professional work in which they engage. Over sixty doctors and lawyers collaborate in assisting students in learning trial skills. The class format is one of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on short practices. Classes are followed by evening sessions in which students each perform jury voir dire, give opening statement, and perform direct and cross examinations of medical experts. Students complete the course by collaborating with a partner in trying a mock jury trial.
