Professor Kristen Juras

UCC Article 2 governing the sale of goods has been an important development in the law of contracts.  Courts have begun applying Article 2 concepts to non-UCC transactions.  In this course, we will review in depth the various provisions of Article 2 governing contract formation and modification, warranties relating to goods, breach and remedies.  We will also study Articles 3 and 4 governing checks and other negotiable instruments, as well as the emerging field of electronic monetary transactions.
