Admissions—Expenses

Tuition

For the 2007-08 academic year, tuition and fees for first-year students are $9,991 for Montana residents and $21,388 for nonresidents. Financial Aid Budget

We estimate you will spend an additional $1,100 per year for law books and related materials. Parking on campus ($175/year) and health insurance ($668.50/semester) are subject to change and/ or additional fees.

Tuition and fees are subject to modification by the Board of Regents and the University without notice.

Housing

Most students live off-campus in apartments, houses and rooms in private homes near the University. Information on off-campus housing is available at University Center Off-campus Housing and the Missoulian newspaper.

The University maintains two types of housing within walking distance of the School of Law. Housing primarily for married students, is made available to single graduate students if existing vacancies are not filled by married student applicants.

Additionally, the newly constructed Lewis & Clark Village, will provide law students with their own shared housing consisting of two- and three-bedroom units.

Computers

A reasonable allowance for purchase of a computer will be determined and considered by the financial aid office upon request. Any approved amount will be added to the financial aid budget.
