As the School of Law enters its second century of preparing students for the practice of law and community leadership, our building must serve the students of today and tomorrow. We are thus engaged in a project that will substantially renovate and expand our building. Students and faculty members have worked with our architects to ensure a design that serves our current academic program and anticipates educating tomorrow's attorneys. Once this project is completed, our building will be accessible to students and visitors with physical disabilities. Small and mid-sized classrooms will accommodate the increasing number of elective courses designed to prepare lawyers to serve clients in specialized areas of law. All classrooms will have better acoustics and more desk space for laptop computers. Our clinics will include interview rooms and workrooms. The project is central to our School's continued accreditation. Our accreditation agency has noted the inadequacies of our existing building.
I invite you to visit the other pages of this site which describe the scope of this project. I think you will agree that this project is critical to prepare the attorneys of today and tomorrow.
Your gift will be a legacy to a future generation of Montana leaders who will serve their clients, our communities, our state, and our country. E. Edwin Eck, Dean |
