A shareholder in the Missoula law firm Worden Thane P.C., Martin King has been apracticing lawyer in Montana for over 28 years. Born in Portland, Oregon, Martin received hisbachelors degree from the University of Oregon in 1980. Martin became a member of theMontana State Bar in 1984 after receiving his J.D. from the Willamette University College ofLaw in Salem, Oregon. Martin joined Worden Thane as an associate in 1984 and became ashareholder in the firm in 1992.
Martin often represents banks and financial institutions in complex commercialtransactions, in foreclosures, and in litigated matters including bankruptcy. His practice alsoincludes business and general civil litigation, collections, and real estate transactions andlitigation. Martin has tried a variety of cases in state and federal district courts, includingbankruptcy court, and has presented numerous appeals to the Montana Supreme Court.
