Professor Sirrs is a Visiting Professor of Taxation for the 2012-13 academic year. She teaches Federal Taxation of Individual Income, Corporate Tax and Partnership Tax. Professor Sirrs is also an attorney with the law firm of Boone Karlberg P.C. in Missoula. Her practice focuses on tax matters, business transactions and estate planning as well as civil litigation. She earned her B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University, an M.Ed. from George Mason University, her J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington. Prior to her legal career, Professor Sirrs was an intelligence officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency, specializing in Afghanistan.
