David Boies is Chairman of the law firm of Boies, Schiller and Flexner LLP with offices in New York, Washington, D.C., California, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, and New Jersey. His legal career includes representing clients as diverse as former Vice President Al Gore in connection with litigation relating to the 2000 election Florida vote count and the U.S. Department of Justice in its antitrust suit against Microsoft. His book, Courting Justice, sets forth his role in these and other high profile cases. Boies received his BS degree from Northwestern in 1964, his law degree magna cum laude from Yale in 1966, and his LLM from New York University in 1967.
