Final Appeal

Tuesday, March 20
6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

After years in prison for a crime she didn't commit, Katie Garding is awaiting a new trial. She is a client of the Montana Innocence Project and the Oxygen Network featured her case in the new series "Final Appeal." Join MTIP at the library for this special showing and discussion of the case by MTIP legal staff.

The Montana Innocence Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to exonerating the innocent and preventing wrongful convictions.

We use DNA and other evidence to advance credible claims of innocence through our interdisciplinary Innocence Clinic based at the Alexander Blewett III School of Law. We also work to improve our criminal justice system through proven public policy reforms, and through training and education for attorneys, law enforcement and other Montanans across the state.
