UMSL Ranks High for Graduate Placement
In mid-April, the American Bar Association released the latest employment data for the class of 2014. The University of Montana School of Law ranks in the top 50 (47th overall) for placement of graduates in full-time, long-term, bar-passage-required jobs, not school funded, at a rate of 67.5%. That’s above the national average for all graduates at a placement rate of 58.7%.
Additionally, the University of Montana School of Law ranks 19th overall for placement of graduates in Federal Judicial Clerkships over the last three graduating classes (2012, 2013, and 2014). The University of Montana School of Law is tied at a rank of 14th for federal clerkship placements in the 2014 graduating class and tied at a rank of 9th for overall clerkship placement. The placement calculations are based on graduates that report having a full-time, long-term federal clerkship.
