LAW 687
Land Use Planning is the study of how local communities plan and regulate the use of their lands. The course covers traditional planning, zoning, and subdivision controls and also examines the following topics:
Students attend live public hearings on land use issues, develop their analytical and presentation skills, and practice ordinance drafting skills. Land Use Planning is a prerequisite course for enrollment in the Land Use Clinic.
