This course focuses on the law of sales as contained in Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. It deals with the formation, adjustment, construction, performance and enforcement of contracts for sales of goods. Covered topics include the scope of Article 2, the process of sales contract formation, statute of frauds with sales of goods, parol evidence with sales of goods, warranties, notice, privity, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, reducing or eliminating warranty liability, commercial impracticability, unconscionability, title, closing, risk of loss, and remedies.
