What do the Department of Defense and the U.S. Government need in the way of language and culture training, and how can we best get those programs to the people who need them?

The Defense Critical Language/Culture Program will host a workshop bringing together DCLCP faculty with their counterparts at the Department of Defense, the Defense Language Institute, and various NGOs.

Redefining Defense Critical Language/ Culture Requirements: New Programs, Procedures, & Partnerships

At this fall workshop, we will be discussing the needs of the Department of Defense and other US Government entitities, with special emphasis on curriculum planning and implementation in light of current studies being done with returning servicemen and officers from the field.
