Montana NEW Leadership is a program hosted by the University of Montana’s Mansfield Center to educate, empower, and encourage college women to become politically active and to take on leadership roles.

The Montana NEW Leadership summer institute is a non-partisan, six-day residential program that will take place June 4-9, 2017 at the University of Montana, in Missoula Montana. During the summer institute, students meet women leaders, learn about women in American politics, and develop and practice leadership skills through panel discussions, workshops, and hands-on projects. After the summer institute, participants are encouraged to continue to develop their leadership skills.
