MASA is a resource for students interested in Anthropology at the University of Montana. We work hard to promote the four fields of Anthropology on campus and throughout the community by offering a wide range of opportunities for volunteers, faculty-student interaction, and financial aid for conferences and study. We encourage all students interested in Anthropology at the University of Montana to join us and get involved! Please check our calendar for upcoming events and meetings, or watch for postings in the Social Sciences building.
As some of you may have noticed the MASA website has had a bit of a face-lift! It was a much needed change, and we hope this new layout provides you with a better source for MASA information and events. If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to email one of the officers. We always appreciate any input we can get.
The 09' fall semester is here. Welcome back to all the familiar faces, and we look forward to meeting the new ones! Watch for fliers around campus, or check the MASA calendar on the second floor of the Social Science building. Be sure and stop by for the first meeting so you can help us pick a time that works for everyone. Remember, you don't have to be an Anthropology major to join! Updates will also be posted here. Please feel free to send any of the officers an email with questions or comments.

- 10th Annual MASA Banquet: Was a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who donated, attended, and bid on items. You guys rock!
- MASA Meeting: No MASA meeting scheduled until after Thanksgiving break. Happy holiday everyone!
- MASA Workshop: Doug MacDonald will be presenting a CV Workshop Wednesday, December 2nd, at 5:30pm in SS252. This is a great opporutinty folks, everyone regardless of major should know how to create a well made CV. Don't miss it!
