We develop some linear and nonlinear examples of distributed
parameter control systems from a semigroup point of view, and
describe how function space theory plays a pivotal role in the
controllability of these systems.
This talk is intended to be at the interface of mathematics and engineering and will be accessible to a broad mathematical audience. |
