Montana Biotechnology Center

The University of Montana

The Center provides core services and instrumentation at The University of Montana to facilitate molecular- and cell-based research in basic biological and biomedical sciences across colleges, departments, and graduate programs. Access to commonly used equipment and services, as well as to specialty instrumentation and facilities, serves to further progress and expand the scope of UM research. The MBC also administers the Life Technologies Supply Center® to provide UM investigators with immediate access to molecular and cell biological reagents. Users of the Center core facilities include research groups in the Division of Biological Sciences, the Department of Chemistry, the College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences and the College of Forestry and Conservation.
