Bio

Dr. Walker graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colby College and earned an M.A. and Ph.D. (2006) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has published a number of articles in English and Russian on Andrei Platonov, Boris Pilniak and poet Viktor Krivulin. His teaching and research interests include Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Russian and Soviet prose of the 1920s-1930s, and contemporary Russian poetry. He is currently working on a book on the Soviet Moscow text and articles on Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment.
