I am from Argentina where I grew up and acquired my passion for nature and birds. I am interested in life histories and conservation of Neotropical birds. I have been working in Latin America for almost 20 years. I have worked on many projects in Argentina, Costa Rica, Paraguay and Venezuela. I have also participated in field projects in South Africa and the United States. Currently I am writing my thesis about life histories of tropical birds (Graduate Research) . I am also writing a manuscript of the biogeography of the birds of Yacamb National Park (Venezuela), where I have been working for seven seasons for T. E.Martin my advisor. I am also preparing a funding proposal to assess the current distribution and population of the Northern Helmeted Curassow (Pauxi pauxi), an endangered bird species from Venezuela and Colombia.
