Though I don't have an educational background in science, my love for birds and the outdoors led me to a job as a nest searcher on Dr. Martin's Arizona field project in 2008. I have returned every year since, serving as video supervisor and then assistant supervisor. After the 2010 field season I joined the Martin Lab in Missoula as a research assistant, and as of autumn 2011 I am now the Arizona supervisor. I look forward to running the project for the next few years, doing my part to train new field biologists and add to this long-term data set on a such a multifaceted and interesting project. Also the Coconino National Forest is beautiful and I love spending three months of the year there! In the office I am the Martin Lab data manager, and I'm responsible for the data from Dr. Martin's three current field sites in Arizona, Montana and Malaysia.
