Graduate Assistants
Daniel T.C. Molloy
Born and raised in Billings, Montana, Daniel got his undergrad in Film Production at Montana State University in 2002. After spending a few years in LA working in many aspects of film making, from script reader to glorified production assistant among other things, the mountains of Montana kept calling him back. Daniel applied to the program and is happy to be writing and making films with the great crew we have here in the Media Arts Program.
Louey Winkler
While elusive in the wild, this playful character will open up to you if offered avocados and cottage cheese. His current fascination with electronics, frequency modulation and human interaction with artificial intelligence seems to keep his batteries charged. We will see you next time when we explore Louey Winkler in captivity. Till then, keep curious.
Bill Kershisnik
Though often criticized for "not having a cinematic eye," Bill Kershisnik nevertheless tries to make the best of his situation. He came to Missoula after getting his degree in Film Studies at the University of Utah. Bill has a specific interest in sound, and in a perfect world would be working with audio professionally after his time here. He also loves to write, and he doodles monsters pretty well. And don't let his crazed hobo looks fool you, he's pretty approachable.
Heather Swartz
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art in from the University of Montana in 2005. After graduation I felt confident in the majority of fine art mediums but I was lacking distinct direction, so I promised myself I would focus on learning “craft” arts such as sewing, embroidery and crocheting in order to advance my artistic vision. I feel successful in the sense that I can sew and embellish my own clothing, however, something with my art wasn’t clicking.
