I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art in from the University of Montana in 2005. After graduation I felt confident in the majority of fine art mediums but I was lacking distinct direction, so I promised myself I would focus on learning “craft” arts such as sewing, embroidery and crocheting in order to advance my artistic vision. I feel successful in the sense that I can sew and embellish my own clothing, however, something with my art wasn’t clicking.

 

In May of 2010, I re-entered college in an attempt to rediscover my artistic goals and vision. Fate led me to the School of Media Arts and I am currently finding my voice in the Integrated Digital Media Master’s program and I couldn’t be happier.
