Katie grew up in ranch country. She has always wanted to put sound to image. Until recently, she had no idea people got paid for this. Her undergraduate degree is in Graphic Design: the higher good, the spiritual zen of snapping things to a grid. She spent the last year snapping stories to a grid and correcting poor font choices. She is a story teller, a mother and a designer who loves to vacuum. She worked for five years in marketing; the perfect arena for making things up. When the This American Life option ran out, she moved to Montana to finally get paid for things she loves to do. Her mission in life is to make beautiful things; and to put them to sound.
