WHAT IS GEO-LITERACY?

Geo-literacy

Geo-literacy is the ability to combine:

  • Understanding human and natural systems
  • Geographic reasoning, and
  • Systematic decision-making,

to make far-reaching decisions in real-world contexts. It is an essential part of a 21st century education and citizenship.
