December 2010
European Masterpieces exhibitions continue. Docents trained and available for tours. A First Friday Celebration will be held this month. Curator will teach a MOLLI course beginning in January. MMAC reception for Montana Board of Regents. VIP membership party coming up.

November 2010
Two exhibitions featuring Masterpieces opening this month. Reception will include pianist. Statewide celebration for Ben Steele's 93rd birthday. MOLLI course in conjunction with new exhibitions will be taught by MMAC curator.  

October 2010
Ben Steele collection comes to MMAC. Gibson on view through 23rd. President's Choice exhibition. Rafael Chacon give final Gibson lecture. MMAC participates in UM activities. Upcoming exhibitions.

September 2010
The Original Man continues at the galleries. Dr. Rafael Chacón will give a talk on September 16. An interview with Anne and Jon Bertsche. Sneak peek into the European Masterpieces exhibition coming in November.

August 2010
NEW Mission. NEW Hours. NEW First Friday Celebrations. Last week of the Glacier National Park Exhibition. Opening August 20 is The Original Man. A poem created by one of the young people from the Missoula Writing Collaborative.

July 2010
Glacier exhibition continues with an upcoming program by Dr. Rafael Chacon. Interesting insights about the exhibition from the curator. MMAC kicks off its second year of membership. Dr. Farr's recent lecture.

June 2010
Glacier exhibition opens on June 11 with a reception. Dr. Farr of the UM History Department will give a lecture on Julius Seyler, June 24 in the Montana Theatre. A look back at the Cast Iron exhibition.

May 2010
Cast Iron Art Exhibition opens this week in conjunction with the biennial conference being held in Missoula. Two keynote artists will give a talk following the opening reception on Thursday, May 6. MMAC will present a Glacier exhibition this summer to celebrate the Park's centennial. Two talks will be given.  

April 2010
Jam Session continues through April 24. Dr. Curtis Sandberg, exhibition curator and Vice President for the Arts at Meridian Internation, will speak on April 14. Galleries offer new audio system. Exhibition catalogs come with free CD. Egyptologist to speak on April 29. 

March 2010
Jam Session will open on March 18 in both galleries with an opening reception featuring live music by jazz pianist David Morgenroth. There are three satellite exhibitions. The exhibition curator will give a lecture on April 14. The MMAC painting by Diaz arrived in Italy for its participation in an international exhibition.

February 2010
Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate exhibition continues throughout the month. Two related events will be held including a lecture by the exhibition curator, Katie Knight, and a panel discussion featuring three participating artists. Cubist artworks on display in the President's office. An MMAC painting travels to Italy.

January 2010
An invitiation to the opening reception for Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate. The event will feature live music, food and origami crane folding.

December 2009
Two exhibitions featuring the MMAC Permanent Collection continue through mid-December. MMAC annouces its choices for the Campus Art Awards. Get a sneak peek into the January exhibition. More building stories.

November 2009
Opening this month, from the Permanent Collection, are paintings by Josephine Hale and New Deal Prints. Two events will be held including a talk by MMAC's curator detailing the life of Josephine Hale. MMAC will host a book-signing with artist, author, and Baatan Death March survivor, Ben Steele. Pulitzer attendance is unprecedented.

Pulitzer Prize Photographs on view. Two Pulitzer Prize winners to speak at MMAC. MMAC launches its first ever membership program.

Capture the Moment: The Pulitzer Prize Photographs opens on Friday, August 7, 2009. A reception is planned from 5-8pm as part of First Friday Missoula. Refreshments will be served.
