Now on view Marilyn Bruya: A Retrospective

Reception for Bruya Exhibition, April 26, 2007

April 26 - June 30, 2007
Meloy and Paxson Galleries

This exhibition celebrates the work of University of Montana Professor of Art, Marilyn Bruya. Professor Bruya teaches painting and drawing and is retiring after 25 years at UM. Bruya's recent work explores the physical world as representative of inner experience, and references the transitory nature of life.

On April 26, 2007, a public reception was held in honor of Professor Bruya. More than 250 people turned out to express their gratitude and best wishes for Marilyn. Over the course of her career, Marilyn taught more than 4,000 students and received numerous UM grants.

We wish her well as she embarks on her new adventures.
