| MMAC OUTREACH . . . . . | Lewis and Clark in the Rockies Bicentennial Festival |
Lewis and Clark in the Rockies Bicentennial Festival, Southgate Mall, June 22-25, 2006. Chris Elliott and Kelley Robison at the MMAC Booth. |
At Southgate Mall, June 22-25, 2006 MMAC was honored to participate in the Lewis and Clark in the Rockies Bicentennial Festival at Southgate Mall, June 22-25. We were able to meet people from all over the country who traveled to Montana to celebrate Lewis and Clark's Expedition. At the Festival we were able to promote and display prints from our current exhibition, and two of our traveling exhibitions; Charles Fritz, An Artist with the Corps of Discovery- The Lewis and Clark Suite (currently at the Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings), and Contemporary Native American Art (openning in New Town, North Dakota on August 1). Thanks from us to all those who worked to plan the Festival, and all those who stopped by to say "hello."
