Ralph E. DeCamp (1858-1936) is known for his landscape paintings. He was commissioned in 1885 by the Northern Pacific Railroad to paint Yellowstone Park. A resident of Helena, he founded the Helena Sketch Club with Charles M. Russell in 1890. He was commissioned to do landscape murals for the Montana Capitol in 1912 and 1927.
