Zootown Cabaret



What is Zootown Cabaret?
Zootown Cabaret is an ensemble that performs song and dance variety shows in café and nightclub venues.  It is sponsored by the UM School of Music and is open to students via audition.
Zootown Cabaret showcases talented UM students with beautiful voices who can really sell a song.  The ensemble is inspired by the great tradition of cabarets in Germany, France, and America, which featured an eclectic mix of song styles, from sophisticated torch songs, comic songs, and satire performed in intimate venues.
The group debuted in 2010 with A Kander & Ebb Review at Zootown Café in downtown Missoula.  Here is a list of our shows and directors:
