MUSI 112A-01 or 312-01
Rehearsals: MWF 11:10am – 12:00pm
The University Choir is one of two mixed choirs in the UM School of Music.  This 50-60 voice ensemble is comprised of both music and non-music majors alike.  The ‘U Choir’ regularly presents three campus performances each year including a combined choral masterworks concert with the Chamber Chorale and UM Symphony Orchestra each Fall semester.  This year’s concert will include W. A. Mozart’s Coronation Mass in C major and Johannes Brahms’ Begräbnisgesang.
The University Choir occasionally performs off campus for high schools and city events.  Auditions for the group are held twice a year at the beginning of each fall and spring semester. To register for an audition, you must first fill out an online information form, which can be found here: UM Choir Auditions.  For more information or for questions regarding the University Choir and auditions, please call or email the director, Dr. David Edmonds.
