Piano Camp

Dear friends,

We would like to invite all pianists who have completed grades 7 through 12 to attend our camp from July 8-14, 2012 in Missoula. The University of Montana Piano Camp has long been a favorite of young pianists eager to concentrate on improving their musicianship and performing skills. In addition, campers enjoy a full roster of social and recreational activities on the university’s beautiful Mountain Campus.
We are excited about the many opportunities being offered at our 2012 Camp! Check out the attached poster and feel free to print a copy for your bulletin boards to help get the word out to your students.
As always, the UM Piano Camp offers students the opportunity to study and work closely with a distinguished faculty of pianists and musicians. In addition to UM piano professors Steven Hesla and Christopher Hahn, we will feature the piano teaching talents of Margery Whatley and the multiple keyboard skills of Nancy Cooper, who teaches organ, harpsichord, fortepiano, and carillon at the university. Composer/singer Lee Heuermann will also help us with sessions in improvisation and composition.
Evenings will include several wonderful faculty/staff and student recitals, and our counselors have designed recreational activities to round out this memorable week.
The postmark deadline for sending your application is Friday, June 22, 2012 with an early application price reduction of $30 available to any accepted camper who applies by Friday, June 1, 2012. Enrollment is limited, so be sure to get your application in early! For more information call (406) 243-6055. .
Thank you. We are all looking forward to a great week together in July.

Sincerely,

Steven Hesla and Christopher Hahn, Directors
