Mountain Computer Music Festival

The annual Mountain Computer Music Festival features a concert of the best student computer music compositions alongside pieces by visiting guest composers and performers. The concert is held at the Phyllis Washington Park Amphitheatre at the base of Mount Sentinel, or in the Music Recital Hall, and showcases a mixture of live interactive and fixed media works. Also included on the festival are guest lectures, a listening room for fixed media pieces, and a panel discussion or radio interview with guest composers and performers. Past guests have included William Basinski, Brian Belet, Matthew Burtner, Chris Chafe, Cheryl Leonard, Elainie Lillios, and Michael Theodore. For more information, contact Charles Nichols.
