Students will receive e-mail notification of abstract acceptance, acceptance with a revision requested or rejection.
Once abstracts have been accepted, presenters and co-presenters may register for the conference.
Faculty and others interested in attending the conference may also register at this time.
Presenters and co-presenters should use the e-mail and password used during abstract submission to register.
Abstract Review Criteria:
All abstracts submitted to NCUR are measured and reviewed by the following criteria:
Is the purpose clearly articulated?
Is the contribution and/or significance for the proposal addressed?
Are the methods articulated and appropriate for the project?
Is the work original?
Is the research presented in a way that is clear, concise and appropriate to the audience?
The Abstracts Review Committee conferred one of three of the following statuses:
Accepted: The Abstract Review Committee identified that these abstracts met the review criteria.
Revision Requested: The Abstract Review Committee reviewed and accepted these abstracts with the suggestion that your abstract be revised to meet one or more of the criteria. Prior to presenting at the conference or submission to the NCUR Proceedings, students should meet with their faculty mentor to discuss the criteria and ensure that all criteria are met for presentation at NCUR.
Rejected: The Abstract Review Committee identified that these abstracts did not meet three or more of the review criteria.
