Missoula College Orientation

These programs are designed to help you prepare for your first semester at Missoula College.

Fall Admits:

We have launched a new, online orientation that will walk you through the steps necessary to clear your holds, learn about our registration system, familiarize yourself with campus resources, schedule an advising appointment, and register for classes.  This is the quickest way you can be advised and register for fall courses, and you do not need to attend an on-campus orientation if you complete the online module and advising ahead of time.

This module will go live on April 16th, and is the method we encourage all incoming students to use.  To access the Online Orientation follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Moodle Account, “NetID Login”
*You can find your NetID using the online NetID lookup tool. If you have never logged in with your NetID, your initial password is the last six digits of your UM ID number (begins with 790).
  2. Access "Missoula College UM Online Orientation"
  3. Complete Orientation Steps
  4. Contact your department's Academic Advisor (contact information included in the Online Orientation)
  5. Register for courses online (after receiving your Advising PIN from your Academic Advisor)

Please note that if you have not cleared all of your holds, you will not be able to make an advising appointment.

Optional Program:

Fall Orientation: August 23rd, 2018

Fall Orientation is designed for students who have not already completed one of our other orientation programs. Students will get the same information, while making only one trip to Missoula right before classes begin.

Students living in the Residence Halls can move in early to their room, but will pay an early-arrival fee of $23 per night until the official move-in day for the Residence Halls.

You can register for the optional on-campus orientations here:
