MCIS Career Assessments

Montana Career Information System (MCIS) provides a number of career assessments, which can be used as tools to plan your career and educational paths.  Using their database of occupations, your responses to questions about skills, interests, and work-related values are matched to careers that might make a good fit.  That database also has career information ranging from field descriptions, training required, job outlooks, average wages, and listings of schools that offer programs in that field.  To take one of the MCIS assessments, you should:

  1. Point your browser to: http://mtcis.intocareers.org
  2. Enter Username: umgriz  Password: griz4me
  3. Click on Create "My Portfolio" and create an account
  4. Access My Career Plan for a comprehensive set of assessments or select one under Occupations & Employment

If you have more questions about the MCIS assessments, please contact Career Services or an advisor in the Undergraduate Advising Center.
